Sun Orchard helped lead the efforts to make the HACCP system a federal rule for all juice manufacturers, and our comprehensive food safety assurance programs are among the most stringent in the industry. From the grove to the customer, our rigorous testing procedures ensure that each load of fruit is scrutinized; every batch of juice is custom blended; and all production lots are tested by trained and dedicated Quality Assurance team members with state-of-the-art analytical and microbiological facilities. Rather than using a standard pasteurization procedure that tends to “over-heat” the juice and compromise flavor, we utilize a “gentle” pasteurization process that allows us to eliminate any harmful bacteria and extend product shelf life without destroying the crucial enzymes, flavors and nutritional value of fresh juice.
