Throughout our history, Sun Orchard has always been a compassionate member of our communities. We have contributed monetary donations, complimentary juice products and volunteer time to a variety of causes and organizations. Some examples of our philanthropic efforts include:
- Annual financial supporter of the United Hospital Foundation, which helps the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul meet the needs of patients, employees, and members of the community.
- Annually donate orange juice products to help raise funds for the Portland Loaves & Fishes Centers, a non-profit organization that supports Meals on Wheels in their effort to provide hot, nutritious meals to homebound seniors.
- Provide financial donations to Outback Steakhouse’s annual Beauty of a Bonzer celebration, which is a fundraiser in Phoenix to support For Those Without A Voice, The Real Gift Foundation, Southwest Autism Research and Resource Center, and Special Olympics Arizona.
- In 2008, we started contributing to the Pat Tillman Foundation by donating orange juice and lemonade for Pat’s Run in Tempe, Arizona.
- For the past 5 years, we have provided orange juice and lemonade for Pinnacle High School’s walk-a-thon fundraising Students Supporting Brain Tumor Research.
- We have an ongoing program to donate our used cellular phones to the Cell Phones for Soldiers program, which is a non-profit that recycles cell phones and donates the proceeds to fund calling cards for US troops overseas.
At Sun Orchard, we understand the importance of simply treating people well. We are consistently recognized for our excellent customer service, having received numerous top supplier awards from a variety of different customers.
Our company does not just provide jobs; we have created communities in our Arizona and Florida facilities that make our diverse group of “team members” feel more like family members than employees.
