Production Locations

Headquartered in Tempe, Arizona, Sun Orchard has two processing facilities (Tempe, Arizona and Haines City, Florida) as well as a seasonal facility in California. Our presence in both the eastern and western United States enables us to access fresh fruit year-round and to provide our customers with the regional taste profiles they prefer. For our multi-unit customers with restaurants all over the country we are able to serve their eastern locations from our Florida facility and their western locations from Arizona or California. This helps cut down on transport costs, lead times, as well as reduces the amount of greenhouse gases emitted during transport of our products.

Many of our competitors only have production facilities in one part of the country, which means they don’t offer these benefits and their customers have to deal with added risk. The juice industry is tricky and there are so many variables that go into producing a high quality, safe product and delivering it to the customer on time. Having multiple production facilities provides Sun Orchard and our customers with a built-in contingency plan, so that if something goes wrong with one of our plants we can supply product from the other. Or if fruit supply is damaged in one part of the country it will have a smaller impact on our operations than it has on our competitors’.
